About Us
The Laura Fergusson Foundation is a not-for-profit charity that raises funds to support the work of the Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust that specialises in assessing, rehabilitating and supporting those impacted by brain, spinal and other injuries in the South Island of New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Grant Coordinator to join the fundraising team.

About the role
Reporting to the Capital Campaign Director, the position would suit someone who has worked extensively in the grant application field in Canterbury. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Research of grants available and the associated funding organisations
• In conjunction with the Capital Campaign Director, foster relationships with funding organisations
• Preparation of grant applications including collation of supporting documents
• Reporting for the Laura Fergusson Foundation Board
• Undertake audit processes of successful grant applications
• General administration duties

About you
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Budget handling and successful bid writing experience
• Engaging manner and a methodical approach.
• Competent with the use of computers and software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, be organised and have a strong attention to detail
• A positive and enthusiastic person with great interpersonal skills
