About us
Laura Fergusson Trust is an independent, charitable organisation that specialises in assessing, rehabilitating and supporting those impacted by brain, spinal and other injuries in the South Island of New Zealand.

About the research project
The Trust has secured grant funding for a two year project the aim of which is to further define the issues that Youth present with in the Criminal Justice service, and build information about referral pathways and available services on release.
Behaviours that result in criminal activity can result from many factors. These can include:
Traumatic Brain Injury, intellectual disability, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, learning and development difficulties, Mental Health, drug and alcohol , trauma , physical/sexual abuse and grief.
We are seeking a Research Administrator to support the team undertaking this important research project.

About the role
Information gathering is key to this position, and having initiative to enable the sourcing of relevant material regarding the person and the services is required. Experience in working in criminal justice services, health, Oranga Tamariki, Police or a university research support role is desirable but not essential as support and training will be provided to the post-holder to develop their role.

• Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Access)
